McKinney Homeless Health Care Shelters Clinics
Homeless patients and families can access all services at SWCHC, with additional interventions available to meet the specialized needs of this population. A team of clinicians and support staff visit 10 licensed shelter clinics on a rotating weekly schedule, with referrals for specialty care and intensive medical follow-up performed at the sites as needed. In addition, the Homeless Team offers health care services to “street” homeless at non-traditional locations such as parks, bridges and feeding vans. |
Shelters run on rotating basis with set hours each week in 2-4 hour blocks of time.
