School Based Health Centers

SWCHC is located in six (6) Bridgeport city School Based Health Centers (SBHC): Bassick High School, Central High School, Blackham School, Read School, Roosevelt School and Cesar Batalla School. SWCHC provides medical care and mental health services at all six sites. Dental hygiene services are provided at five of the six sites, Central High School being the exception. For a student to be eligible to be seen by SBHC staff a student's parent or legal guardian must complete a signed consent form for enrollment at the school.
